FUTURE

For the past 5 years, I have enjoyed my time at the study Industrial Design tremendously. Unfortunately, the final 1.5 years were not as vibrant as could have been due to COVID-19 and it’s regulations. However, I still feel like I have developed myself both as a designer and as a person in such a way that I am ready for the next step.

I do not have a conclusive idea of what I want to do in the upcoming year. Ideally, in the future, I will combine my work in the film sector with a part time job as designer. However, as I do not yet know exactly what I want for the short term, I will first go back to my core. I am a very cognitive person and will use the upcoming period to fully reconnect with my own needs and wishes. This means that I will start to work in film for a bit when summer is over and will research career opportunities intuitively. Moreover, after having focused quite some time on theory and study, I feel the need to start making more, independently from an institution or company, and just create for the sake of creating. 

Corona volente, I will discover new places and opportunities both in the Netherlands and abroad. As described in my Professional Identity, I tend to observe and store details all around, so traveling will add valuable knowledge and inspiration.
